Welcome to the Wyoming County Career and Technical Center. I believe any student attending the WCCTC has the opportunity to leave high school prepared to enter either directly into the workforce or to further their education.

The instructors at WCCTC provide a high level of rigor and instruction along with hands-on learning that allows our students to complete with deep, intensive skill sets in the programs of their choice. We are committed to providing our students with a competitive edge in the workforce or educational setting.

We hope you not only leave the WCCTC with employable skill sets, but have an enjoyable experience as well. Take full advantage of the opportunities provided to you in our setting.

Stacey Lusk, Principal

It is my belief that career and technical education provides students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners. CTE prepares these learners for the world of work by introducing them to workplace competencies, and makes academic content accessible to students in a hands-on context. Career and technical education programs are changing and evolving with advances in technology.

The instructors at WCCTC are focused on continuing education and professional development that equips them in creating an educational environment that integrates core academics with real-world relevance. WCCTC is transforming expectations and making a difference for students, businesses and industry.

I have seen an increase in the number of WCCTC students attending post-secondary education by attending local colleges and universities as well as many out-of-state schools. The versatility of CTE is what makes it so unique. WCCTC prepares students to enter employment or post-secondary education.
